I’ve written the Trailside Headband to coordinate with the Trailside Cowl and Hat patterns. This is a simple and satisfying knit that makes a squishy little headband.

The pattern uses Super Bulky yarn (shown in Lion Brand Thick and Quick) and is written in 3 sizes: child, adult m/l, and adult l/xl. Pattern can easily be adapted to a variety of sizes.

There are coordinating cowl and hat patterns available separately.

Pattern includes written instructions only.

Instructions are written out, not charted.

Uses US 11 - 8.0mm and US 13 - 9.0mm needles.

Growing my Hat Collection

I had the wonderful opportunity to purchase A North Road Knits lightweight hat at the Fisherman's Picnic in Grand Marias on my annual trip up north. I've been wearing it nonstop as soon as it got cold where I live. So soft, and the knit breathes beautifully and looks fantastic! I had to get some more colors and snag a couple for friends.
