I have a hat from Jamie which I call my “heavy duty” hat. The Maple Hill hat is for not as coldly intense days. In fact, as we were waiting for our table at The Angry Trout (in August), it was cold and windy and I pulled the Maple Hill out of my bag! It was perfect as a lighter hat with all the warmth. I didn’t even take the tag off! I love the color. I call it a dark robin’s egg blue. Lovely work.

Stopped by North Road Knits and I was surprised to find the wide range of yarn, sipplies, and hand knit items for sale! Super fun to see and I love the Malabrigo Rasta that I couldn't resist buying. Came home and bought 3 of her patterns. Will be great, quick knits.

This hat is so easy and so fun to make! I bought the pattern just a few weeks ago and now have a stack of like 10 hats :) I guess everyone is getting hats for Christmas this year!!
