Tensegrity Hat Knitting Pattern

I’ve been knitting this hat for years, as a sister hat to my Campground Hat, which also features triangles stacked in a different arrangement. I haven’t taken the time to give this pattern the attention it’s due until now. My son, an engineering major, took one look at the sample I had made and said it should be called Tensegrity, which is an architectural term that has to do with stacking and compression.

This pattern calls for two to three colors of Super Bulky yarn. There are 2 sizes in the pattern, including adult s/m, and adult l-xxl.
