I sell knitwear, and in my shop I have a variety of neckwear options for folks to choose from, from big bandana-style V-shaped cowls, loose flouncy tube scarves, and sturdy rectangle-shaped cowls, but I wanted to make something small and efficient - nice super bulky weight, but a little bit of shaping in the front to fit perfectly in the gap between your coat and chin.
I absolutely love how this cowl fits, and it is super cute. I can’t stop making them.
The Simple Bandana Cowl pattern comes with instructions to make a quick and simple neckwarmer with less than one skein of super bulky yarn like Malabrigo Rasta or Caracol.
The pattern is written for one size, average adult.
The cowl is knit flat and in the round from the bottom up.
Uses US 15 - 10.0mm 24" circular needles.
