The Maple Hill Hat has been a best seller for me at markets for years. It’s a simple pattern, perfect for beginners.

The pattern is written for bulky weight yarn. The yarn featured here is Malabrigo Chunky. The hat takes only one skein of that type of yarn.

The pattern gives instructions for 2 variations: one with folded brim, and one with a classic fit (no folded brim).

Uses US 10.5 - 6.5mm needles.
