Hibernation Cable Hat Knitting Pattern

I first knit up this pattern just before autumn of 2023, and planned to release it in December of that year. My life took some wild turns, and December turned everything upside down. The hat pattern, and samples, sat on my needles for nearly a full year before I was able to revisit them. I’ve named it Hibernation Hat, because the pattern itself sat in hibernation for so long, and when I wrote the pattern (both then and now) I was very ready for a cozy winter rest.

This hat is knit in the round from the bottom up. The pattern gives directions for two sizes - adult and child. When knit at the correct gauge, this hat is very stretchy and should fit a variety of adult sizes.

Uses US 11 - 8.0mm and US 15 - 10.0mm needles.
